Our fair trade Flat Soapstone Word Hearts are hand carved by indigenous artisans out of Kisii soapstone, sanded, smoothed and etched using simple hand tools. These sweet hearts show the natural colors of the stone. Due to this, some color variations should be expected. Beautiful shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown can be seen in the design.
