Our fair trade Natural Soapstone Work In Progress Heart is hand carved by indigenous artisans out of Kisii soapstone, sanded until smooth and then polished using simple hand tools.  This beautiful heart shows the natural colors of the stone. Due to this, some color variations should be expected. Lovely shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown can be seen in the design.
