Leather Journal | Elephant
Embossed with a trunk-up elephant on the front and a mandala design on the back, this journal is handcrafted from buffalo leather and handmade paper by artisans working with our fair trade partner, Noah's Ark. Featuring a light brown buffalo leather, 70 pages of handmade, blank, cream-colored paper and a metal clasp with antiqued brass finish.
The leather is treated using a vegetable tanning method and treated with oils or water-based dyes to color the leather. Hand crafted with love and skill by each artisan, these cultural practices and tooling have been inherited through generations.
